Pros

Very fun work enviroment, with management that's got your back. So many bad days where a boss would come over and make me feel better! Pay is pretty great for the job Benefits are fantastic! Seriously, fantastic!

Cons

-Be willing to work unexpected doubles. This was the work environment, "Hey, you mind working until 2am instead of 7pm?" -You get to enjoy making multiple phone calls to restaurants explaining why you're doing a bad job. It's as frustrating as it is embarrassing . -Company seems to want your input, but be prepared to be scoffed at. Your input = what you're doing wrong and why.

Pros

You get to choose your own hours and it's a very easy job. You just delivery food for the restaurants around town while listening to music, podcasts, or books on tape.

Cons

You are supposed to get $15/hr including tips. If you do not make 3 deliveries an hour, they supplement your pay to get you to the $15/hr, but they rarely actually help you get to $15. When you don't make the $15 by yourself, they bump you up to around ~$13

Pros

Great, capable people everywhere. Zoomer going out of business might suggest otherwise, but I would attribute that more to a big shift in the investor market as well as the fact that countless competitors emerged into the food delivery market, including behemoths like Uber and GrubHub. What Zoomer loses here will be others' gain; a lot of fantastic folks just hit the job market and pound-for-pound I doubt you'll find people more devoted or hard-working. This wasn't a laid-back 9-to-5 environment filled with people watching the clock to go home. People worked well together and went hard to the paint to help Zoomer succeed.

Cons

Ratings-wise I'd knock a little off for weaker compensation and benefits, a necessity given budget constraints. It was a startup, after all. On balance, no regrets. Took a big swing and just didn't get there, was great to be a part of it. A cautionary tale for others: the contract-driver industries are everywhere and you're always vulnerable to forces beyond your control.
