I worked at de Poel for 7 years and had such a great time there when Matthew Sanders was CEO. It al changed when Andrew Preston took over and he is one of the worst people I have ever worked for. Such an awful working environment created. I hope those reading these reviews find it as hilarious that de Poel are getting employees to put positive reviews on here to try and counteract the truth!

Thanks for your feedback. We are committed to providing a comfortable, transparent and collaborative environment for all our employees so I am disappointed to hear your views.
Naturally we encourage employees to contribute to Glassdoor, but we would never ask individuals to write reviews that are not a true reflection of their own experiences.
Everything - this company is led by a self obsessed narcissist who is only interested in his image and self praise - senior staff are horrible to deal with, bullyish approach and no progression opportunities. Not only are they like this with their own staff but with their clients and recruiting partners.

Really sorry to hear your thoughts. We are disappointed as we don't feel this reflects our Company and colleagues. We recently achieved accreditation from the Best Companies to Work for Survey based on feedback from our staff.
Terrible leadership, focused entirely on dictatorial and narcissistic micro-management. You're not allowed the power of thought, so you either do as you're told or else seek a job elsewhere.

Thank you for your comments, we’re sorry to hear your views.
We have done a lot over the past year to encourage staff feedback and participation in driving our organisation forward, including involving staff volunteers in a number of workstreams helping to shape the future of de Poel, investing in a new e-learning platform and developing a forum with representation from all parts of the business. Talented individuals are recognised and this is reflected in the high number of internal promotions we saw in 2017.
We wish you well in your ongoing career.
