Pros

Work from home most days.

Cons

Do not work here. The job is overwhelming, stressful and the pay is terrible. Despite feeling overworked - a large percentage of the stress is due to how the company operates and the disfunctional management. The company went from bad to worse once the transition happened from Babylon to eMed. Internal changes happen all the time - due to this everyone is somewhat confused on the rules, latest updates and policies as it changes constantly. This affects work efficency for staff members. The staff suffer but the patients/customers suffer the most in all this, and receive poor service. This dramatically increases the number of angry patients/customers, making an overwhelming job even harder. Despite some patients/customers being a headache - I don't fault them for being angry, as the company is a disaster and they have the right to express their frustration. A quick Google search and you'll see countless negative reviews online about the company. If you join you're likely to feel like a stranger within your team as there are no team building exercises. As well as no incentives and no bonuses. You receive no overall appreciation apart from free beverages and fruit. Management make it obvious about which employees they want to "grow" and who their "favourite" employees are; and If you're not considered as one you have no chance to grow within the company or prove your worth because they don't care to see it and their attention is elsewhere towards the "favourites". It makes you feel like you're walking on egg shells even when you know you're a hard working employee. No point wasting your time applying to work here as you'll never feel secure in your role, mainly due to the company dropping people like flies, either by getting fired or redundancies. People are also leaving from their own accord because the company is collapsing, in addition to also trying to find a replacement before being made redundant too. Save your time and (mental) health by avoiding this company as an employee as well as a patient/customer.

Not what it used to be as Babylon

Pros

Remote working, flexibility, colleagues are great

Cons

Sadly since being taken over by eMed, the company ethos, treatment of staff has taken a nose dive. Pushing more appointment for no increase in pay. Employee feedback does not seem listened to. Loved working for Babylon, left eMed after erosion if benefits, pushing extra amounts of patient for no extra renumeration.

Cons

Management have no clue how to treat their employees. No clue how to manage. Managemt dont care about their employees. Management dont listen to employees if you are struggling with your work mentally or physically. They tell you your in the wrong for reporting issues that are unsafe for you, the roads and your patients
