Pros

They do very good work on a technical level. Pay is actually OK.

Cons

Poisonous office culture. Works people to the bone. Cost cutting mentality. Out of touch executives. Plus, the industry is moving against them. As the number of startup semi's decreases, the pool of potential customers decrease.

Pros

Everyone works really hard. Not too much politics, because everyone is working really hard.

Cons

Everyone works really hard. No salary increases for 3 years. Long days 12+ hours per day. No bonus. No 401k matching. Mandatory use of vacation at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Constant threat of layoff. Company strategy changes all the time.

Pros

Its a small company with lots of friendly folks. You get a feeling of being in a close knit family when you initially join. Everybody is friendly and can even except to get some short conversations with executives. Beverages are free but maybe not for long. There used to be friday luncheons where people tell their life stories but that is gone now.

Cons

Management does not care about the small people. There is a feeling of being replaced or fired all the time. High turnover. Toxic environment. Too much politics.
