Pros

Bonuses were great. Woohoo!

Cons

Our company was acquired by, approx 2 years ago. They immediately let our support team go. They let go, the only people that knew how the hell the Support Dept worked & provided support to the providers. They recently let go, the entire Santa Rosa Enrollment Team. Even though, we processed thousands (literally....THOUDANDS!!) more enrollments, than the Kansas office & received great survey reviews, from the providers. as the Stepchildren (they never wanted), we were awarded cheap x-mas parties & fake presentation of friendship. So, if your company is ever acquired, by a company like eSolutions, regardless of how good you are, you'll be working on borrowed time. Corporate is only loyal to the Kansas employees. The health ins package, was absolute the worst crap ever & , we had to pay for it.

Pros

Great company benefits, hours and you can truly leave your work at home. Company "family" (really drinking) events. They are growing so there is opportunity to grow within the company if you are liked by upper management.

Cons

Company culture is not the best. Lots of secrets and backstabbing from all aspects of the business. New sales reps are all assigned the same clients to cold call on at the same time and whoever is the first to get the appointment gets to keep the client. Low base salary for the area. Too much focus on growth versus growing your current staff. Staff turnaround is worse than the revolving door at the Waldorf Astoria in New York.

Pros

There are some truly amazing people at eSolutions, and some managers really try to make the job fun. They've become a lot more professional over the years, and offer good benefits and at times, a fun atmosphere.

Cons

The sales team is incredibly cutthroat and people are fired all the time. It's really disheartening. I hated that they tracked my calls/productivity, when I went to the restroom, restricted Internet use, etc. And then, in direct contrast to the police state monitoring of certain activities, the management has created this drinking goof-off culture that invites slacking and frankly, hooking up. Honestly, the company culture on the whole is a vile cesspool of drama, like the kind you find in high schools. For instance, the CEO has been involved personally in sexual harassment and is having an affair with a junior employee. There are also other managers who have had affairs with lower level employees, which is gross and uncomfortable when you find out. Knowing that they are having an affair behind their spouses’ backs is rather upsetting to some of us on moral and character grounds, but also it is making us uncomfortable (sometimes we saw/see their spouses at events) and is a distraction to productivity. It became a huge source of gossip in the office and honestly, watching them message each other on snapchat and skype all day was really irritating. I’m at work to do my job, not to hook up with people or plan drinking events. They seem to take lunches/trips to work out, were constantly using email and flirt and chat all day in person, too. It’s bad for morale for all of us to be working a full day and see certain people, especially ones in management roles, slacking off a good part of each day.
