Pros

There are only 3... - a paycheck - great products that work - dedicated hard working sales team/co-workers

Cons

- Completely negligent and misguided upper management - Do not know how to motivate, reward or lead sales team in any sense of the word - Leaders are those that others gladly follow. None of the team willingly follows the management due to crushing negativity, paralyzing admin work that does nothing to help support the sales team - they question your every move and you wonder why you hired to begin with, even when you outperform others - Unprofessional, catty, negative regional managers that are "out to get you" and willingly engage in negative feedback, hateful comments and threats - "nothing is ever good enough" mentality - Compensation is truly a joke, LOW base pay, absolutely no perks, spiffs or substantial commissions paid - No matter how hard you work, they always change the rules and move the ball almost to the point of dishonesty and greed - Negative, intimadating and unprofessional VP who rules with from a perspective of my way or the highway, yet high turnover and poor sales indicate it's not working, will not listen or implement requested changes that would improve the lives and moral of the sale team - Poorly planned launches, out of stocks, mis-ships and damaged product destroy sales team credibility in the field, resulting in breakdown of trust with accounts - RM's are not motivating, professional and know nothing of actually how to coach you, train or help you to build business in the accounts - as they have little to no knowledge of ingredients, event execution, training support, developing PPT's, etc. They are nothing more than compliance officers who call you once a week, ride you and provide no positive support, help and can't even pretend to see it from your perspective - they are simply barking out a task list of reports, unrealistic routing and daily tasks to be completed handed down from the VP - You will question everything you are as management threatens you, belittles you, drowns you in tasks that help no one and make you realize this job isn't worth your sanity

Pros

Amazing product line up, compassionate coworkers that are willing to lend a hand, competitors love to hire glo reps because they work like dogs for nothing.

Cons

New crack the whip management style has reps running for a second round of mass exiting. Clueless top level management thinks that micro managing is going to increase sales when it is actually causing them to be paralyzed in unproductivity. Pay is an industry low and employees feel unvalued and unappreciated. Zero company culture unless fear, zero quality of life, their way or the highway, and nothing is ever good enough is culture.

Pros

The business consultant pay structure change on 1/2016 is one of sink or swim. If you can hustle and have a true hunter personality, you will be rewarded. If you want to socialize with accounts and collect a paycheck-you will sink...FAST. The change was designed to shift the focus to growth, and reward those who can deliver results based on that goal. I urge you to look past the negative posts and give glo a chance. I was reading the same scary posts you are before I was hired in 2015 and I was skeptical as well and I'm so glad I went with glo!! As an employee who did the old pay structure AND the new one, I will tell you I'm making more now with the new one, but it's just paid out differently.

Cons

LOTS of work, high expectations & long hours...but the payoff is there.

You're absolutely right, the new structure offers more opportunity for our sales team as rewards are uncapped.
