I had a review earlier with the same headline but it was taken down for identifying an individual by job title. I've since rewritten it to reflect the company as a whole.
When Covid hit, IQ implemented a number of policies that boiled down to nitpicking at a microscopic level, encouraging call-out culture, and inviting us to be "whistleblowers" on our fellow colleagues. They made repeat threats on company-wide calls, warning us of layoffs and encouraging us to compete with our colleagues to retain our jobs. At one point they actually posted all of the location staff's roles up on job sites, even though the roles were held by existing employees, and terminated 50% of their existing staff.
This company caused a lot of mental health issues among its staff and ironically also terminated or drastically reduced benefits as a cost-cutting technique, right at the time when people needed it most. They also cut everyone's salaries, but continued to purchase fancy office snacks, alcoholic beverages and office and holiday decorations. This is a company that does not put their employees first.
After they laid off the entire HR department (you read that right), harassment and bullying complaints were repeatedly ignored or covered up in attempts to protect their favourites (including upper management). It was altogether a terrible experience, and one I wouldn't recommend to anyone.
