Pros

Interesting work with nice people who don't point fingers. The working culture is empathetic and people are helpful by default. Great work-life balance and flexibility. Fun team building activities, not too many not too little, it's great to hangout outside work every few months with colleagues from other departments. Monthly free lunch in office is a good monthly decompress day too. The culture is very welcoming and uplifting. Leadership is down to earth and approachable. Space for growth. Requests to collaborate on initiatives outside your scope are usually welcomed and supported.

Cons

Still a growing company so the health insurance isn't amazing and no RRSP matching .. yet.

Pros

Non-management team members are incredibly hardworking and supportive

Cons

The Glassdoor negative reviews are true and the positive ones are encouraged by the company - I was asked to write a Glassdoor review after just a few months, which already felt off and highly uncomfortable. This place is a minefield hidden by buzzwords and “company values” that leaders don't follow themselves: - Accountability: Supposedly means taking ownership, but in practice it meant I took the blame, even when I was given contradicting instructions. If I asked questions, that wasn’t “taking ownership" and no clear examples were provided. - Collaboration: Claimed they “make each other better,” but any attempt to manage up (which was an actual assignment I had to do) or point out gaps in training or processes was shut down. - Growth: Instead of supporting growth, they’d rather cut their losses and replace people, even if it meant losing months of momentum. The revolving door is real and at least six people left or were fired in the short time I was there. Feedback was vague and contradictory. For example: I was told I should’ve known enough to demo a certain feature in depth and that it’s a “basic feature”, but that feature wasn’t in any training module. In fact, I specifically asked what I should be covering, and my plan okayed and this feature wasn't mentioned or flagged at all. Later, when I asked if the feature should be added to the module so future hires wouldn’t make the same mistake, I was told no and that I wasn't taking accountability by pointing out this gap. In my opinion, accountability and collaboration here means one-way communication from the top. I was told "there should be no more learning curve after six months", yet those with years at the company have shared they also needed time to find answers to questions. I was more appreciated and had a better time in my first year of teaching than I did here. If you're a teacher looking to get out of teaching, I'd recommend you look elsewhere. Leadership is disorganized, unsupportive or straight up accusatory if they're in disagreement with you, There are all of these Glassdoor reviews with the same comments throughout the years and nothing has changed. Mediocre pay and benefits for the sheer amount of stress and anxiety. Avoid this company at all costs.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We appreciate hearing your perspective, as it clearly outlines the frustrations you felt and helps us focus on areas where we need to strengthen our internal processes. We acknowledge that your time here left you feeling unsupported in key areas like Accountability, Training, and Feedback. It’s clear that our communication and expectations did not align with your needs, and we take that seriously. The reality is that there won’t always be a perfect fit between a company’s role and the person hired for the job, and we recognize that mismatches happen despite everyone's best efforts. We strive for every employee to have a positive and fulfilling experience, and we sincerely regret when that alignment is missed. We actively encourage two-way communication with all employees internally through multiple channels, and our preference is always to address feedback directly while an employee is still with us. Regarding your comment about Glassdoor reviews: as is standard practice across many companies, all employees receive a detailed communication around their 3-month mark. This is a comprehensive check-in email that provides more information on employee benefits, company perks, a 3-month onboarding satisfaction survey for real-time feedback, and an invitation for more open 1:1 conversations, if needed. Within this wider message, there is also an optional note about Glassdoor. This is a simple offer for those who wish to share their experience publicly for transparency - we don't force people to do anything they don't feel comfortable with, as we respect that an employee's choice to submit a review is entirely their own. The primary reason we include this is to ensure prospective candidates gain an accurate and complete picture of the company from a broader set of voices. It’s important for prospective candidates to remember that Glassdoor is a platform for many voices. Your experience, as detailed in this review, reflects your real and genuine experience. We recognize that every review on this platform (positive, mixed, or negative) is equally real to the individual who wrote it. Our company's rating represents an aggregate of all publicly-shared reviews, which includes a high volume of positive feedback from team members across various tenures. While we value your perspective and will use what you've said to improve, we are also proud of the volume of real, positive reviews that specifically note a strong connection to our people, culture, and mission. We value every perspective in painting a realistic view of our workplace. We are committed to building an organization where our values are consistently reflected in every employee experience, and we are determined to continuously improve our organization by focusing on key areas: enhancing the clarity of our processes, strengthening our people management/leadership skills, and refining our hiring approach. We appreciate your feedback and wish you the very best in your next professional chapter. The myBlueprint Team

Thank you for sharing your review and honest feedback. It's wonderful to hear that you're enjoying the work, friendly coworkers, and flexible environment. These are all things we've collectively worked hard to build, and it's great to see them make a difference. Your positive experience is a reflection of our commitment to a positive and supportive culture. You also raised an incredibly important point about benefits and recognition. From a leadership perspective, a great culture is built on mutual support, and we agree that benefits are a key part of that. We are always thinking about how we can continue to invest in our team, and we will look to expand what we can offer as our business growth allows for it. Thank you for your valuable contributions to the team!
