Pros

4 day week, some benefits can be good, some people in the team were great.

Cons

Even though they have a 4 day week they Introduced a week called hell week each month, where you work extreme hours, which results in burn out Very contradictive views from posts on LinkedIn compared to what actually the environment is in the workplace. Driven by numbers only at any cost, No job security, can be fired at any point with no warning, which also states in contract, this happened very often in the business.

Pros

John Lennon is very professional and cares about the business. The only staff member at Thryve who cares.

Cons

I was made to feel very uncomfortable from day 1. The culture is non existent, very judgy, tense atmosphere. I have honestly never experienced anything like it. The training strategy for newbies is horrific and is not beneficial at all. If you are female I would definitely avoid also- I was part of/ and watched male managers be very discriminative toward female members of staff. Most members of staff are very competitive in the worst way possible, and their idea of 'recruitment' is quite literally a joke. If you are a beginner or want to progress, avoid this place at all costs. There are more agencies out there who offer structured training programmes and who actually treat you nicely!!

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about our company. I genuinely appreciate all feedback as it gives us an opportunity to reflect and improve. I must express my surprise at reading some of the concerns you've raised. While I respect every individual's perspective, the portrayal of our company culture and training differs from the ethos we work hard to cultivate and maintain. We strive to create an inclusive, supportive, and professional environment for everyone, and we pride ourselves on our commitment to all our employees, regardless of gender or any other factor. One of our greatest accomplishments as a company is the diversity of our team. Our senior management team is made up of men and women and people from BAME backgrounds. What’s more, our wider team is made up of people from all walks of life, as well as many ethnicities and nationalities. Historically, since our inception in 2014, almost 40% of our team has been female, and 35% of our team have come from a non White-British background. We have held event focused on diversity and inclusion, championed by the entire team and we also have a core Charter dedicated to the very practice of increasing our awareness and practice of diversity and inclusion, and indeed using our platform to help our client partners improve their efforts in this area. But there is still so much more to do, and I want to ensure that we do everything we can to make our company a place where anyone can prosper. Regarding the feedback on our training program, we continuously work towards enhancing it based on regular feedback and evolving needs. This is a constant work in progress and we try our best to give every new employee the best start to their career with THRYVE. I am always available to employees and make it a point to be involved in various aspects of our operations. If there have been specific incidents or concerns, I encourage open communication to address them promptly. For the sake of transparency and continuous improvement, I'd welcome the opportunity to discuss your feedback in detail. Please feel free to reach out directly if you'd be open to a conversation – even if you wish to remain anonymous. I will take all and any feedback to ensure THRYVE is always moving forward. Thank you again for sharing your perspective. We remain committed to upholding our values of: - Making a positive impact - Being accountable to ourselves and each other - Thinking differently - Being brave - Being a tribe and ensuring a positive experience for all associated with our company. Warm regards, John

Pros

OTA system - but still poor. No professional

Cons

- Unprofessional management - Germany driven (you can not say anything, everything is controlled by Germany) - They do not know what is diversity and inclusion - Only white, straight men. It does not feel good. Also you can feel it from every conversation. They do not support women, any other colour and LGBTQ - Germany's touch

Hi There. Thank you for your feedback and for your comments. We sincerely appreciate them and welcome any opportunity to improve what we do. Whilst we respect your opinion, we also feel the need to respond to your comments - specifically about diversity and inclusion, which I consider to not be a fair appraisal of THRYVE and who we are. One of the things I am most proud of is the diversity of our team. Our senior management team is made up of women, people from BAME backgrounds and people who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community. What’s more, our wider team is made up of men and women from all walks of life, as well as many ethnicities and nationalities. Historically, since our inception in 2014, almost 40% of our team has been female, and 35% of our team have come from a non White-British background. There’s still more to do. We held events in 2021 focused on diversity and inclusion, championed by the entire team and led by someone who is passionate about this very topic and who has direct experience of the issues caused by a lack of diversity and inclusion. We have a core Charter dedicated to the very practice of increasing our awareness and practice of diversity and inclusion, and indeed using our platform to help our client partners improve their efforts in this area. In 2022 and beyond, our core value of empathy will continue to guide our growth strategy, and at the heart of that lies a genuine, true commitment to being one of the most diverse Companies in London. The great thing about our recruitment industry is that it doesn’t discriminate. Anybody can achieve their goals and ambitions, and we want to help as many of our team achieve those goals as possible. Thank you, once again, for your opinion. John Lennon - Founder at THRYVE.
