Pros

There are some great people working within this company.

Cons

Lack of support, communication and accountability from management. Payroll is not fit for purpose. There were more than a handful of occasions where pay was wrong or late. Resulting in highly stressful days, wondering if bills would get paid on time. Work hard, worker harder ethos. Constantly under the pretence that “this is a start up and we must all pitch in” is not acceptable for frequent 60 hour weeks. It’s a badge of honour to work yourself into the ground with no reward. Sales are hard to make due to significant roadblocks caused by management. Meaning you constantly feel like your job is at risk (it is).

employees are nice people, the CEO wants people to be happy at work

Cons

The culture is having a conflicted effect on business growth and performance. Sales are not performing or following new processes designed to grow the business. Having fun in the office playing table tennis comes above the much needed sales activities of building pipeline and closing deals. If you work outside of HO you are treated differently and if you are a UK employee be prepared to take the blame for everything that is wrong with the business. There have been many UK employees who have worked tirelessly to grow the market but not had the support needed from HO. Often these employees experienced missed salary payments. The C level team were not fast enough to resolve this problem and allowed this to occur on multiple times with no empathy towards their staff or families. When Winningtemp decide its time for you to leave (typically before 2 years service) you are treated as though you are being fired. You are told to tell your colleagues another story so they will not worry or leave the business. There is no support and you are expected to work your notice period.
