We’re pleased to share that ABCA has been appointed as a panel member to the Government’s Interim Measures Alarm Fund (IMAF). The fund has been introduced to support the installation of common fire alarm systems in residential buildings, helping to remove the need for waking watch and improve safety for residents. You can find more information on the fund via this link. Being selected onto the panel reflects the work we’ve been doing in this space over a number of years. We’re one of a relatively small number of contractors with the proven competency, accreditations and delivery experience to support fire alarm upgrades that meet the requirements for funding. We understand both the technical and practical challenges involved - from system design through to installation and supporting clients with compliant submissions. We’re looking forward to working with housing providers, managing agents and responsible persons to help them access the fund and deliver safer, more cost-effective solutions across their buildings.
