🌍 Exciting news! Aira has partnered with Centrica’s eco-tech pioneers, Hive to accelerate the adoption of sustainable heating solutions across the UK. Partnerships like this support the vital clean energy transition by making greener heating options more accessible and affordable for people across the country. Hive has already saved customers £490 million over the past 11 years and we’re proud to be contributing to these cost savings moving forward. In fact, by saying goodbye to an inefficient gas boiler and hello to an intelligent Aira Heat Pump and optimised tariff, people can save up to 29% on their heating costs, while also significantly reducing carbon emissions by at least 75%. Together, we can accelerate the decarbonisation and electrification of residential heating across the UK, securing a cleaner future for generations to come. On Tuesday we welcomed journalists from Europe’s leading media houses to Aira's new research and development centre in Helsingborg, Sweden. We spent a couple of insightful days unpacking our vertically integrated model and how we combine hardware, software and data to offer customers the most intelligent heat pump on the market. Our guests spent time with Aira’s experienced and highly skilled product and technology team, learning more about our growing product portfolio and how we’re utilising machine learning to maximise efficiency in each home and increase cost savings for customers. Thank you to Kaj af Kleen, Anna Gustavsson, Jeff Chen, Magnus Bondesson, Magnus Hazell, Stefan Håkansson and the whole team at the R&D Centre for providing a deep dive into your areas of expertise within product and tech. We were also fortunate to be joined by Caroline Haglund Stignor from RISE Research Institutes of Sweden for a roundtable discussion where she shared her extensive knowledge on the global heat pump market and how we can accelerate heat pump adoption across Europe, with key learnings from Sweden’s successful clean energy transition.
Earlier this week, our Aira team headed to the Palace of Westminster to discuss the development and adoption of heat pump technology under a new Labour Government. Aira welcomed a collection of key stakeholders, policymakers, and industry representatives for a breakfast conversation, hosted by Alistair Strathern, to establish a robust policy framework and position the UK as the global leader in heat pump technology. During the event, Aira Group CEO, Martin Lewerth and Aira UK CEO, Daniel Särefjord delivered speeches to welcome guests and introduce our key UK policy asks for 2025, including: 📆 To provide clarity on implementation dates on the planning permission legislation and to continue the removal of unnecessary policy red tape 💰 To address the spark spread – the urgent need to reduce the price of electricity in relation to gas 🚀 To consider leasing models within the BUS grant offering to increase accessibility for people Together, we can create a cleaner, greener and more affordable future for people across the UK and beyond.

Meet the eco-curious generation 🌏 77% of homeowners have been impacted by rising energy costs and almost half (44%) are having to dip into their savings to pay energy bills this winter. Consequently, people are looking at ways to save money while also being more sustainable in the home. Heat pumps have already cut CO₂ emissions by 8 million tonnes and have the potential to save European households 40% on their heating costs.
