World Mental Health Day is coming up this Sunday, 10 October. This year’s theme 'Mental Health in an Unequal World' highlights the unequal access to mental health services as well as the underfunded promotion, prevention and care methods and a still widespread stigma. To raise awareness and show our support for better inclusivity and equality when it comes to Mental Health, we've joined Action Mental Health’s initiative and have gone purple for the day. As an employer, Mental Health of our employees is extremely important to us. We want Apex to be a transparent and safe place to work, and in taking steps toward ensuring our global family supports one another, earlier in the year we introduced our volunteer Mental Health First Aiders program. Our 46 Mental Health First Aiders across our global team are trained to listen and signpost helpful advice and resources. To everyone out there, in a world still fighting Covid19, please look after your mental health, be kind to yourselves, speak up if you’re struggling, offer support if you think someone else is.

Founded in 2008, our India operations have evolved and expanded in line with our global growth trajectory. We have now reached the milestone of 1,000 employees in India supporting the Group’s global operating model across over 47 locations. Since 2019, the employee footprint in India has grown by 365%, creating over 650 new jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic. We spoke to some of our colleagues in India to hear their highlights of working at Apex so far and what they are looking forward to in the next stage of our evolution in the region.
