From today Park Group will now be known as – ‘Appreciate Group’. Our purpose is to help individuals and businesses with solutions for the moments that matter to them, our products help make giving, receiving and experiencing easier and more joyful. Our ethos is to make people feel appreciated, and that’s why we have chosen our new name to reflect this as we build on our 50-year history of helping millions of customers with celebrating and rewarding those people that matter to them.
We have now moved into our new home on Chapel Street in Liverpool. This relocation is a large move in what is an incredibly exciting time for Park Group. We have spent a large proportion of this year reviewing our business structure and discussing how we can drive our business forward. This move is an integral part of our new strategic plan, the future is full of joy for Park!
Further to the announcement on 15 November 2017 of the intended appointment of Mr. Ian O'Doherty to succeed Mr. Chris Houghton as Chief Executive Officer of Park, Park is pleased to announce that the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has approved the appointment. FCA approval was the only condition to the appointment of Mr. O’Doherty. Therefore, Mr. O’Doherty will take over as Chief Executive Officer on 1 February 2018 and join the Board of Park on that date. Mr. Houghton will step down from both the Board and as Chief Executive Officer accordingly. As previously announced, Mr. Houghton will remain in an advisory capacity until the announcement of the Company's full year results in June 2018, and he will continue to ensure an orderly handover and smooth transition.
