Last month, members of our teams took part in the Pretty Muddy Race for Life in aid of Cancer Research UK (CRUK) they raised a seriously impressive £2270 plus £497.50 in gift aid 😮 They didn't look quite so clean at the end of the race however we are all proud of them for completing the course for such a deserving cause. Well done team 'Muddy Hair Don't Care!" 👏
To celebrate International Women in Engineering Day, we asked our Engineering Apprentice, Ellie, what drew her to a career in engineering and what she is enjoying most about her apprenticeship. "What first drew me to engineering was my interest in how machines worked and how they can be fixed should they breakdown. That's also what I'm enjoying most right now, learning how the machinery we have works and how the line will eventually run in our new factory." We send zero waste to landfill, 3 of our 4 sites are powered using renewable energy sources and we are proud of our unique 'Barrel for Life' concept. Our refillable barrel system reduces plastic waste significantly, our Franchisees deliver product straight to the customer, refilling their 'Barrel for Life' each time, saving thousands of plastic bottles every year.

Members of our People Team recently took part in a Cancer Research UK (CRUK) challenge to walk 100 miles in a month. After lots of lunch time walks and taking the long route when walking around the building, the team successfully completed their challenge, with everything raised along the way going to a great cause. Well done People Team! What's the next challenge?
