We celebrated our second annual hashtag #CSMBetterTogether Day on Wednesday ✨ It was a beautiful day that ended with a 4:01 celebration at The Foundry Kalamazoo with drinks and food from Condado Tacos. We received several pictures from our colleagues working across the country to commemorate the day. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed to the success of this event.
Sunday, March 3rd, was the first day of Women in Construction Week™, also known as WIC Week™. The event celebrates and promotes the vital role of women in the construction industry. This year's theme, "Keys to the Future," recognizes women's strength and knowledge and their crucial role in shaping the industry's future. To celebrate, we are introducing you to a few women at CSM Group who are critical to our success, starting with Deborah Russell, materials expeditor. Deborah currently supports one of our pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients in Kalamazoo and has been an instrumental member of the execution team since April 2022. Eight months after joining our team, our client recognized her as an Employee of the Month, which is a testament to her grit, perseverance, and dedication to overcome significant challenges and deliver excellence. Deborah's performance on the project and her ability to pivot, adapt, and overcome demonstrates the level of commitment and customer service we should all aspire to. When asked about the best career advice she has ever received, she said to "be a sponge and listen to everyone, from the cleaning service personnel to the CEO." Well said, Deborah!
Associated Builders and Contractors visited our headquarters yesterday to present us with our Accredited Quality Contractor (AQC) plaque. We appreciate their visit and the recognition of our commitment to providing high-quality services to our clients. We are proud to be a part of the AQC program, which helps us maintain our standards.
