Crimson was awarded the National Best Employer Brand Award (2021) by the World HRD Congress. This year, it was the 30th HRD Congress event organized at Taj Land’s End, Mumbai. The organization cited the following reasons for dedicating this award to Crimson: Apart from a balanced male: female ratio (54:46), the Company has also employed gender-neutral policies (including policies for the LGBTQ+ communities). There are numerous employee engagement activities like annual awards night, employee recognition and intra-organization knowledge sharing programs. Employees’ professional development is ensured through initiatives like T-square which rewards talented and long-tenured employees with Stock Appreciation Rights and Employee Stock Ownership Plan. Upskilling programmes like PRINCE2 and BELS, sponsored Executive MBA programs from reputed institutes like IIM Calcutta, an offsite training program termed LEAP etc. provide learning opportunities. The company also expertly tackled the pandemic by achieving a record hiring of 35% in a time when other companies were resorting to mass layoffs.
One of the Crimson's brands, Enago has recently acquired RAx Labs Inc., which is a US-based company specializing in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP)-based products for literature review, critical reading, concept extraction, semantic knowledge mining, content discovery, and recommendation tools for researchers and publishers. RAx was founded in 2017 by Prof. Sourish Dasgupta, a Computer Science PhD from University of Missouri-Kansas City. It provides an advanced suite of AI tools for researchers and publishers to assist them with various literature analysis tasks, including discovery and selection, organizing and citation, comprehension and analysis, and peer review. This includes tools to help researchers with crisp, cohesive summaries and research highlights for quick assessments, discovery and comparison of similar papers, critical reading, reference management, and much more. This acquisition will bring Enago’s deep industry knowledge, user understanding, and presence and RAx’s significant technology expertise together to benefit global academia.
