We continue to empower communities through volunteerism. Crowley Cares, in partnership with our By Grace business resource group, led a volunteer initiative at COAR – La Comunidad de San Óscar Arnulfo Romero in hashtag#ElSalvador. Volunteers painted a community house and facilitated activities to develop soft skills and discuss the role of faith among local youths.
Maleeya McWhite turned early mentorship into a career with purpose. As a pricing analyst at Crowley, she brings insight, leadership and a passion for culture through her work in her profession and with Crowley’s BRIDGE business resource group. Reflecting on her journey, she explains, “I chose the logistics industry and Crowley because it’s about more than moving goods. It’s about connecting people, supporting global communities, and making a real impact behind the scenes. No matter where I go, I know I’m part of something bigger.” Learn more about her story in her recent Earn Up spotlight.
Crowley has been named a 2025-2026 Best Company to Work For not just in our industry, but across the board. On Junior Achievement of North Florida’s recent Day of the Girl, 170+ students explored logistics through a hands-on workshop led by our Women Empowered business resource group. From farm to shelf, young girls learned how supply chains move the world, while we helped shape tomorrow’s talent with learning led by women excelling in our industry. While immersing themselves in the role of logistics companies, the students gained hands-on experience in transportation, global trade and teamwork. One student shared their excitement: “I liked the Crowley workshop. We got to learn how things go from one place to the next, and we got chocolate!” The enthusiasm highlights the impact of blending education with real-world applications and sweet surprises.
As Crowley Capt. Nick St. Jean notes, America’s maritime industry keeps essential goods like groceries, medical supplies and energy moving. Every day, mariners and logistics professionals power the supply chains that support our way of life – and we’re proud to see seafarers' work supported by our leaders.

Alongside Puerto Rico Governor Jenniffer González-Colón and our partners at Naturgy we celebrated a significant milestone - the operation of the American Energy, the first U.S.-flagged LNG carrier dedicated to delivering liquefied natural gas to Puerto Rico. With the capacity to transport up to 34.4 million gallons of LNG per voyage, American Energy can supply enough fuel to power approximately 80,000 homes for a year. Behind every voyage are our remarkable mariners who operate the vessel.
