From colleagues to friends, meet Ankita Hooda, Aditi Todi, and Linda Banerjee from the Content Studio, Star Plus - Non Fiction, whose bond at Disney Star highlights the power of workplace friendships. "I think the three of us have had an amazing run," says Aditi. "We've found a perfect balance that has made us better individuals and professionals. Our friendship fuels our growth, sparks creativity, and ensures we're always there for each other." Linda chimes in, "Todi and I have been friends for ages. I'm the goofball, and Ankita is the glue holding us together. We share a love-hate relationship, but Ankita is always the mediator." "We've tackled numerous projects together," Ankita adds. "From the Teej event for Plus to the development of Nach Baliye for Hotstar and Star Plus simultaneously, and the many Star Parivaar Awards. Our success comes from open idea-sharing and zero office politics. We recently tackled the huge Dance Plus project, and having each other's backs made all the difference. A group hug at 2 AM? Reflecting on their decade-long friendship, Pallabi mentions, "Even though we've known each other for ten years, it feels like a lifetime. Ajay explains, "The reason I've stayed with this team for so long is simple: I wake up excited to go to work." Even on the rainiest days, they find comfort in sharing the experience together. Ajay recalls, "Even if Pallabi comes up with an idea that I don't agree with, there's no conflict. We respect each other's opinions and move forward." My story isn't just about the work I do; it's about the passion, creativity, and dedication that our entire team brings to the table every single day. Our mission? To ensure Disney characters maintain their integrity and charm across different languages and cultures. It's far more than just dubbing; it's about preserving the director's vision and the character's essence in every localized version. From Disney Pixar to Marvel, Star Wars to Disney Animation, our team handles it all with flair. I also worked on creating local animated shows for Disney Kids Network India, ranging from anthropomorphic stories of the soil like Simple Samosa and Bollywood-inspired parodies like Gaju Bhai to chase comedies like Bunty aur Billi and Eena Meena Dika.
