Yesterday, Ebenezer proudly hosted an event with LeadingAge Minnesota at Ebenezer Ridges welcoming the Hon. Principal Secretary of Kenya Diaspora Affairs, Ms. Roseline K. Njogu along with others from the Kenya State Department for Diaspora Affairs and MN State Representative Mohamud Noor to discuss innovative solutions for Minnesota’s senior care workforce. We were honored to welcome healthcare leaders from Cassia - An Augustana | Elim Affiliation, Guardian Angels Senior Services, Benedictine, Vista Prairie Communities, Ready Care Staffing, Pearson VUE, and more at this event which highlighted the vital contributions of foreign-born professionals, particularly in aging services, and explored new partnerships to support our incredible staff. Congratulations to the 2024 LeadingAge Minnesota Leadership Academy graduates from Ebenezer: John from Loren on Park; Kaki with Martin Luther Campus; Alex from Towerlight; Kayla from Meadows on Fairview; Emily from Willows Bend, and Sarah, who works in several different Ebenezer communities! Leadership Academy is a unique program specifically designed to develop leadership capacity and competencies of aging services professionals by tapping their natural talents and authentic leadership style. This 8-month program blends leadership theory, applied learning, and personalized coaching to mentor current and emerging leaders in our field.
