Learning and development is very important to us at Ebury. As our sales and dealing teams progress through their careers and reach the next promotion, they are invited to attend a global Bootcamp where they can network with their colleagues from different offices and learn new skills from our most senior staff members. This year, we've completed 3 Bootcamps so far - each time, the attendees had a very productive and positive two days with lost of workshops, quizzes and role-plays, activities and plenty of opportunity for networking amongst the group!
At Ebury, we are proud to be a diverse and inclusive organisation and we continue to do a lot to encourage more women to join us in Finance. This Summer, the UK office were pleased to launch a Girl's Summer Internship programme where we had 3 ambitious students join us for 2 weeks. They had the opportunity to learn from many of our front-office and back-office teams, meet some of our senior Leadership team and be part of daily tasks to get a feel for the working world! Here's a quote from one of our girls... "I greatly enjoyed my time spent at Ebury. The people were extremely welcoming and friendly, and I felt very included in the company while learning about the various hard-working teams such as data, marketing, and sales. I learnt a lot during these two weeks and the experience was very valuable, giving me an insight into the work of a fin-tech. A huge thank you to all the team involved in making my experience here so wonderful through sharing their knowledge and passion." This Summer, we launched the Ebury Oscars where our 800+ employees could nominate their colleagues in 9 fun categories. These included "The Master Chef Award" for the person who brings in the best home-cooked food, "The Fitness Award" for the person who goes to the gym at 6am and makes the rest of us feel bad, "The Caffeine Addict Award" for the person who drinks the most coffee in a day and "The Devil Wears Prada Award" for the person who comes to work looking nothing less than runway ready! Massive Congratulations to our winners from across the globe!
All our front-office new joiners participate in a 2 week Global Induction, where they have the opportunity to learn from key speakers across the globe, participate in learning activities and spend time shadowing their colleagues. We were introduced to so many new cuisines inducing Pies and Lamingtons (Australia), Bitterballen (Netherlands), Waffles (Belgium), Pasteis de Belem (Portugal), Paella, Gazpacho and Omelettes (Spain), Strawberries & Cream (UK), Jause (Austria), Rhineland Vespers (Germany) and Croissants (France). Next month, we are looking forward to launching The Ebury Oscars to celebrate our fantastic employees!

Around the world progressive companies are actively supporting women's advancement and diversity across their work forces, with more and more women present at Board level. At Ebury, we are striving to be a diverse organisation (and not only in terms of gender parity), we continue to do a lot of work to encourage diversity through our established women's mentoring scheme, women's events and open forums, and are committed to work closer with Universities in attracting more females into the Financial Services industry to achieve 'gender - balance'!

We are celebrating the tremendous success of being ranked amongst the UK’s fastest growing tech companies for the third year running. Ebury placed 73rd in The Sunday Times Tech Track 100, announced on 9th September. The league table ranks Britain’s 100 private tech companies with the fastest-growing sales over the last three years. We are the first-ever Fintech to go live with SWIFT’s global payments innovation! In March, Ebury became the first Fintech to directly participate in the Faster Payments Scheme in the UK and is now the first Fintech ever to go live with SWIFT’s global payments innovation, further cementing our competitive positioning as one of the fastest-growing FinTechs in the UK. Previously only available to traditional banking institutions, we will now give our customers access to: payments credited within 30 minutes - many within seconds - total transparency of fees, and end-to-end payments tracking. We work continually to make sure our clients are receiving the most cutting-edge technology and newest innovations to simplify international trade and aid growth.
