For our GXOers, giving back doesn't end at the holiday season! Our Wellingborough, UK crew partnered with customers Toolstation, Haier and Huel to donate surplus stock to Northamptonshire food banks that help people in need all year long 🧡
Safely operating material handling equipment (MHE) has been impossible for deaf colleagues or those with certain physical disabilities — until now! Working closely with our partners, GXO's UK team studied equipment usage across multiple sites. They tested a wide variety of safety scenarios, made adjustments to both equipment and our training processes, and today? Seatbelts and extra mirrors improve safety and visibility. Sign language and visual elements have been integrated into our trainings. And every #GameChanger has the opportunity to earn an MHE certification and grow their careers at GXO. We're delighted to share that this breakthrough project just won Initiative of the Year at Logistics UK's Logistics Awards for Diversity and Inclusion! Even better, this is just a first step for the industry: Our partners are already exploring how they might contribute to a #BeInclusive culture beyond GXO, where everyone in logistics can #BeSafe while growing their futures 🧡
What an incredible day our #GameChangers just had, welcoming Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal to our ASOS.com facility in Barnsley, UK! 🧡 The Princess Royal learned about many of the team's health and wellbeing initiatives, and heard tell of many more — resources like our onsite occupational health therapist, a free gym for employees, flexible shift options, and regular workshops covering topics such as financial resilience and healthy lifestyles. The Barnsley crew is also celebrating 10 years of apprenticeships! HRH met with two such apprentices currently learning the ins and outs of logistics, from warehousing and storage to business support and team leadership. We've long been proud to partner with ASOS in creating a healthy and supportive place to work, where more than 3,000 employees can grow their confidence and skills at GXO and beyond — and we're honored and grateful to The Princess Royal for championing wellbeing across the United Kingdom.
As the temperature continues to drop, those without a place to call home are in growing need of support, so for the 5th year in a row GXOers in the UK took on a powerful challenge to help. For 24 hours, they slept outside with no money, relying solely on the kindness of others for food, drink and donations — all to raise awareness and funds for Shelter, a local charity that provides legal advice, online council and more for the unhoused. Together, the community raised over £3,600! Huge thanks to everyone who bundled up to #MakeAnImpact ❄️

Remembrance Day marks that joyous moment 107 years ago when, "at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month," fighting ceased in the War to End All Wars. Many wear poppies to commemorate not only the millions who died in World War 1, but all we've lost in wars before and since. Ivan Bull just celebrated 25 years as a GXO driver. A former service member who runs his local Army Cadets Academy, Ivan asked that a GXO lorry be wrapped in poppies for Remembrance Day — something the local team was ecstatic to do! Together with Ivan's new truck, they visited their local barracks and spent time with its soldiers. Ivan's just one of many GXOers who've been inspired this #RemembranceDay, and left us inspired in turn! Jordan Pullin, for example, sold poppies at our Sainsbury's site in Sherburn, the proceeds going to the Royal British Legion. Others decked out their sites with home-made poppies and other decorations. Today, we celebrate the lives of those who've passed, and the peace they've brought the rest of us with their sacrifice.
GXOers in Minworth, UK are in their fall garden era! Using repurposed wood, they built custom garden beds and decorated them with hand-painted designs, sharing our values with each creation 🌼
