80 years ago, 133,000 young soldiers from eight different countries took to the banks of France to free the country, and ultimately all of Europe, from the oppression of war. Today's Europe is a very different place, unified across borders and tied together in mutual support. Our colleagues around the world number about the same as the soldiers on that day, and they represent even more countries, backgrounds and ethnicities. They can work together, united in their diversity, because of sacrifices made so long ago. What a remarkable difference 80 years can make. Today we look back to remember, reflect, and rejoice in all that has been accomplished since June 6, 1944 — and forward to a future made brighter for it.
What a stunning community garden our GXOers created in Doncaster, UK! Beautiful herbs, vegetables and flowers found new homes in recycled plastic planters and surplus wood from on-site. Thank you to everyone who contributed to growing this beautiful bounty 🌱 🌺
