WE'RE MOVING OUR BRISTOL HQ! We’ve hired over 150 people this year, and we’ve outgrown our offices! The exciting news is that we will be moving to our new Bristol HQ in Q1 of 2022. We asked our people what they needed from an office space, and it’s designed around our current and future team needs to help us to continue our rapid growth. Our new offices will have a fitness studio, meditation space, kitchen with pop-up free meals, quiet working rooms, cinema/auditorium, free treats, healthy snacks, and drinks! The new HQ is not too far away from our current office at Runway East. It will provide our European team a great space to call home. We have scooters to get around the office, and it’s designed with innovation in mind giving you spaces to create, ideate and have fun! The main aim is for this to be a post COVID flexible work space that everyone feels safe to be a part of.
Hello! I’m Rob Pezet, Associate Product Designer in the Experience Design (XD) team at Immersive Labs. In a nutshell, my role is to make sure that digital products – in this case, certain parts of the Immersive Labs platform – look and feel the best they can to help people achieve their goals.
My transition into tech: an unconventional career journey Jodie Neville is one of our Associate Cloud Security Engineers and is currently based in Cheltenham. She helps to write cloud security labs in the cloud content team. New comer to cyber security and the tech industry, she has a keen interest in learning more about these areas and becoming an expert in cloud.
What does it mean to you being a black individual at Immersive Labs? Being black in Immersive Labs has been a positive experience – I’ve been evaluated on my skills and contributions rather than my skin colour. If I do want to reach out to people with Black heritage, I can do so and not feel isolated. Plus showcasing Black History History month has been rewarding and I think my profile has made me known around the business (which is never a bad thing).
As cyber risk permeates across entire organizations and even whole sectors, it creates a need for skills and judgment in both technical and non-technical teams in a way that keeps pace with attackers and ensures compliance. It is because of the burden this puts on skills that we are today announcing a Series C investment of $75m. Led by new investors Insight Partners, alongside Menlo Ventures, and Citi Ventures with existing investor Goldman Sachs Asset Management, the capital will be used to enhance our platform so it can intelligently match this spreading threat using targeted training to deliver knowledge, skills and judgment.
