What an Apprenticeship Week we’ve had at Jensten! A week full of energy, inspiration and stories that remind us just how powerful apprenticeships are—for individuals and for our business. Big highlight: Launching the Jensten Apprentice Community (JAC) Our new network designed to support, connect and inspire early career apprentices across the Group. Our first session was kicked off by Jamie Lewis, MD of Jensten Underwriting, who shared insights from his own early steps into insurance. A brilliant reminder that every career starts somewhere. Apprentices explored our refreshed values and reflected on what our values mean for them day to day—the highs, the challenges and their aspirations. Their insights will help shape how we continue strengthening early career support across Jensten. This week we: • shared inspiring apprentice stories • recognised managers and mentors • spotlighted L&D pathways • showcased real career progression What’s next for JAC: • New community support channel now live • First in person event set for April • Regular virtual sessions continuing • Program shaped directly by our apprentices A huge thank you to all our apprentices: your commitment and curiosity make Jensten stronger. We’re proud to support you and excited for what comes next.
Introducing Our Refreshed Vision, Purpose & Values! At our Senior Leadership Event on 21 January, we took an important step into the next chapter of our journey as a Group. The day was filled with energy, ambition and a shared commitment to the future we’re building together. During the event, we unveiled our refreshed vision, purpose and values — designed to guide how we work, how we lead and how we continue delivering exceptional service to our clients. To bring this to life, we shared a short film that captures the clarity, intent and forward momentum behind our direction of travel. Since then, our senior leaders have been taking these conversations into their teams, ensuring every colleague across the business has the opportunity to engage, reflect and contribute. This marks an exciting new chapter for all of us at Jensten — one built on shared purpose, aligned values and a collective drive to keep moving forward. Here’s to what comes next. #protectingtodayempoweringtomorrow
Last week, our Employee Engagement Champions (EECs) came together for their annual away day—an energising session that felt even more meaningful as we step into Jensten’s next chapter. The day focused on connection, clarity and purpose. We were pleased to be joined by our Group CEO, Rob Organ, who shared his perspective on our refreshed Vision, Purpose and Values, followed by an open Q&A. Throughout the session, our EECs shared insights from all corners of the business—ensuring that the actions we take next reflect the real voices and experiences of our people. Our EECs play a vital role in shaping the culture we’re building at Jensten. A huge thank you to all our Champions for your honesty, energy and commitment—on the day and every day. #careersatjensten #jensteninsurancebrokers #lifeatjensten #protectingtodayempoweringtomorrow

Giving Back, Together: Jensten’s Year of Impact with Unique At Jensten, we believe that making a difference goes beyond business—it’s about people, purpose, and pulling together as one team. This July, we proudly wrapped up an incredible year of fundraising and volunteering for our 2024 Charity of the Year, Unique, a charity that supports families with rare chromosome and gene disorders. Thanks to the passion and generosity of our people, we raised £16,450.16 and dedicated countless hours to support their vital work. From bake sales and charity walks to raffles and donations, every effort mattered. It’s a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we unite around a shared cause. To mark the occasion, we unveiled our Charity of the Year plaque, now proudly displayed in our London office—a lasting symbol of the impact we make together. And in a new tradition, our Bexleyheath office received the first-ever Charity Cup, celebrating the team whose nomination brought Unique to the forefront. At Jensten, giving back is part of who we are. We celebrate our wins, support each other, and take pride in creating positive change—inside and outside the workplace.
Jensten has now completed the acquisition of East Anglia-based One Broker Group, following approval from the FCA. Its largest acquisition to date, the deal provides Jensten with a significant new regional centre of excellence in East Anglia, featuring offices in Norwich and Cambridge. It brings 115 staff and £60m GWP to the business. Jensten has achieved substantial growth over the past two years through a number of strategic acquisitions, a fundamental part of its strategy to establish and grow specialist and regional centres of excellence. The business recently announced the expansion of its Yorkshire region with the acquisition of White Rose Insurance Solutions. Following the successful acquisition of One Broker, Jensten will continue to invest in growing its presence in East Anglia, both organically and through acquisition, with further deals in the region to be announced imminently. Alistair Hardie, Jensten CEO, commented: “The acquisition of One Broker highlights the strength of Jensten’s proposition to brokers contemplating a sale where a clear commitment to retaining a regional presence is important. One Broker is one of the outstanding regional assets in the UK broking sector, and we are delighted to welcome Robin Plaster, Sean Clark and the rest of the team to the Jensten family. We look forward to working with the team to achieve further growth in East Anglia”.
Jensten has acquired the business of White Rose Insurance Solutions in a deal which sees its regional centre of excellence in Yorkshire & Humberside grow with additional offices and teams. White Rose has established itself as the local broker of choice for commercial and private clients across North Yorkshire and provides a high-quality, traditional insurance service to the communities it serves, with offices in Skipton and Settle. The business also trades as South Lakes Insurance Solutions from its office in Kendal. Rob Organ, Jensten Retail MD added: “Increasingly, we’re talking to brokers who are considering a sale and want to sell to a business which has a clear commitment to retaining a regional presence, providing certainty to their people and clients. Our strategy of growing regional centres of excellence fits well with these businesses. We’re delighted to welcome Andy and the White Rose team to the business as we continue to build our presence in Yorkshire.”
Jensten has made its largest acquisition to date, acquiring leading East Anglian-based One Broker Group for an undisclosed amount, subject to regulatory approval. The deal, which gives Jensten a significant new regional centre of excellence in East Anglia, with offices in Norwich and Cambridge, brings 115 staff and £60m GWP to the Group. The deal means Jensten now controls well in excess of £500m GWP and has 800 staff. One Broker Group services commercial and personal clients across East Anglia, with a focus on business, property and haulage. The business has also built an impressive range of specialist schemes with national distribution, including solutions for private ambulances, community-led housing, community assets, thatched homes and classic cars. MD Sean Clark will continue to lead the business, which has successfully delivered strong year-on-year organic growth. The business also has a track record of successful acquisitions, which most recently saw Uttings Insurance Brokers acquired in 2022. CEO Robin Plaster will lead further M&A growth in the region, where One Broker is poised to continue to buy high-quality broking businesses.
