Last week’s 'Thirsty Thursday' session was organised by our D&I Committee, whose goal is to foster a culture where diversity and inclusivity are embedded and practised within all areas of the Group. A key part of this is identifying opportunities for diversity training, education and development. For this session, comedian Che Burnley was invited to Middlesex House in London, and he delighted us with the most thought-provoking and insightful session to date.
Connecting capabilities in healthcare communications have never been so important. So, how are agencies managing this today? In this Network Pharma webinar, we discuss how our client teams have evolved and how traditional roles have had to change and adapt to help solve today’s healthcare challenges.
Yesterday was International Day For The Elimination Of Violence Against Women and marked the launch of the UNiTE to end the violence against women campaign; which runs for the next 16 days. Our D&I committee has been busy developing resources to help increase awareness and education for this important campaign. Did you know? Nearly 1 in 3 women have been abused in their lifetime, and since the outbreak of COVID-19, violence against women, particularly domestic violence, has intensified. As part of our support for this initiative, our people will be wearing orange, sharing their own stories and providing tips on how we can all help end violence against women.

People are at the heart of who we are. Our aim is to transform the lives of those we touch without prejudice or discrimination. At Lucid, the magic we create relies on harnessing the unique, diverse and individual talents of those we work with. We strive to ensure that each person is empowered to bring their whole self to work so we can be fully inclusive and collaborate with a full heart – fulfilling the potential of everything we do and everyone we work with. Equally. Lucid has an active diversity and inclusion council which follows a calendar of events that has been put together by its members; providing everyone with the opportunity to celebrate their whole selves. This month we celebrated Diwali and Kiran Cheema, a medical writer at Lucid Group shared both her knowledge and love of this special time, as well as a few amazing recipes in a blog post.
In this video, Nick discusses his career journey with Lucid Group and describes what a typical day at Lucid looks like for him. We are always looking for new talent.
