We chatted to Sarah, Senior Graphic Designer, about her role and life in our Boston, US office... “A typical working day can really vary in my role, and that's one of the things I like about it! There are lots of different phases of a creative project - I could be in a kick-off meeting with our stakeholders learning about a new request, or in the concepting phase, where I partner with a copywriter to sort out how we are going to solve a brief. My morning routine starts with a quick review of my to-do list (love a list!) - I always try to make one at the end of every day to set me up for success in the morning. After that, it's usually catching up on emails from our London team, since they're five hours ahead of us in Boston! I adore the people here at MOO; the Boston office is a small enough size that it's easy to know everyone, and it's so nice to get to know my London coworkers as well, since a large percentage of the creative team is based there.”
“It informs everything we do, how we think about our industry, our products and our ultimate mission as a business.” Richard Moross, our CEO and Founder on MOO’s purpose, and how it was so central to our success.
At MOO, I’m responsible for managing the awesome agile coaches we have here and helping guide how we develop as a coaching function. The thing I like most about working at MOO - as corny as it sounds - is the people. Even though we have a bunch of challenges, there are plenty of people willing to come together to face into them. I’m also a pretty big fan of our collaborative working space, which allows us to be very visual in our problem solving in many varied ways. Oh and Cake. You can’t be a MOOster and not loooove the cake! Jas, Head of Agile Coaching, about his role at MOO. Take a look at our vacancies
I work in the Data Engineering team and I’m responsible for helping integrate new data sources for our analysts, and improving our data infrastructure. I feel like I’m part of something - MOO really go out of their way to keep their employees happy. Plus free lunches on Fridays - yay! From my team in particular I get space to grow, learn and experiment. #team #moo #innovation #softwareengineer #dataengineering Tasnia, Software Engineer, about her role at MOO. Last month we kicked off our yearly "MAD (Make a difference) for the Holidays Initiatives" and had a huge coat drive across our UK offices. A big warm THANK YOU to all who contributed to our second annual coat drive. In the end, we collected 40 coats and sent five boxes to our friends in need! From our partners-in-crime to whom we sent the coats for distribution: "Many, many thanks to you all for the 5 boxes of coats which arrived. These will all make such a difference to so many people who otherwise wouldn't have a coat this winter." Happy holidays. Team MAD :)
"At MOO, I'm responsible for writing applications that help our warehouse operations run smoothly. We have trust within our team, from leadership to our stakeholders. We take ownership of our applications and are given many opportunities to make improvements through architectural software design, implementation, testing and release. We can see the effect our updates have on the warehouse operations and I get a lot of personal satisfaction in seeing something I’ve written making life easier for someone." Super proud of our Tech & Product Engagement Guild, who came up with a fun way of introducing our Leadership team to new starters, as well as sharing some fun facts, our existing teams may not have been aware of... Introducing our very own PokeMOO cards! #tech #newstaff #funfacts #businesscards
