"I was privileged to compete in two Olympic games: Barcelona ‘92 and Atlanta ‘96, both times for my native country, Jamaica. I was 7th in the men’s 100m finals in Atlanta ‘96. The Olympics bring back nostalgic memories; me winning my earlier rounds, the opening ceremony, and most importantly, the adrenaline of competition. I am so excited to watch the Tokyo Olympics albeit, without spectators. I’ll be cheering for all the competitors since it takes such a grueling effort to get there." Our Cherokee Emergency Department is getting an upgrade! With plans to open early October 2021, the expansion will include: - 22-bed expansion for a total of 55 beds - 4 dedicated resuscitation rooms - Dedicated behavioral health area We have strong relationships with EMS providers and continue to have great staffing ratios.
