March 21, 2022, London, UK – OPEN Health is pleased to announce the appointment of David Thompson, PhD, as Chief Executive Officer for Evidence & Access. David joins OPEN Health with a wealth of global experience in this area. He is a health economist by training, with 25+ years of experience conducting real-world research and HEOR consulting for clients in the biopharmaceutical sector. He was Editor-in-Chief of the ISPOR publication Value & Outcomes Spotlight from 2008 to 2020 and is a current member of the ISPOR Board of Directors. In addition, David serves on the advisory boards and belongs to the working groups of various RWE policy organizations. He is a frequently invited speaker and panelist on HEOR/RWE topics at international conferences and scientific venues, and he has more than 100 abstracts and papers in the peer-reviewed medical literature. In his new role, David will be leading the Evidence & Access practice teams in the HEOR and market access space.

OPEN Health is pleased to announce the appointment of Annemarie Clegg, MD, as Chief Medical Officer and Jennifer Chilver as Chief Commercial Officer of OPEN Health. Annemarie joined OPEN Health in 2018 with Peloton Advantage. Since then, she has been instrumental in building medical affairs consultancy services and driving the growth of the US business as SVP of Strategic Services, and then in expanding the size and capability of the Medical and Scientific Services team as Chief Medical Officer, OPEN Health Communications. As Chief Medical Officer, Annemarie will be responsible for supporting new business, strategic planning, and medical and scientific staff development across the organization. Jennifer joined OPEN Health in 2014, in Succinct Medical Communications, and since that time has provided tremendous leadership and dedication to the company. As Chief Commercial Officer, Jennifer will oversee OPEN Health’s global commercial strategy, marketing, and client growth initiatives in collaboration with the business development and marketing teams.

Since joining OPEN Health in 2011, Margot has provided tremendous leadership and dedication to the company. She has held numerous positions, most recently as President of the Medical Communications Center of Excellence, where she has been instrumental in building a high-performance team by developing and retaining best-in-class talent. As CEO, she will be responsible for more than 500 people, with overall accountability for the Medical and Brand Communications services, including publications, medical education, learning and development, and creative and digital services. Margot has previously worked for AstraZeneca, Takeda, and Merck, before moving to the agency side in 2007. She believes in harnessing the power of collective expertise, is passionate about talent development, and has a strong track record in effective succession planning.
