Stories have the power to reshape our understanding of the past, present, and future. This year, #BlackHistoryMonth UK is spotlighting the theme #ReclaimingNarratives ā a call to take control of the stories that define Black history, culture, and identity. At Qualitest, weāre proud to celebrate this month and honor the incredible contributions of Black individuals throughout history and today. Together, letās champion stories that reflect the true depth and richness of Black experiences.
Building brighter futures, one step at a time. In partnership with Team Everest, Qualitest has contributed to and supported the construction of 10 restrooms at Namma School, Kallakuruchiā8 for girls and 2 for boys. As UNICEF highlights, access to proper sanitation facilities increases student enrollment and reduces dropout rates, especially for girls who are more likely to attend school when there are separate facilities. Weāre honored to have been allowed to make a difference in the lives of these students. By contributing to something as fundamental as sanitation, weāre not just improving hygieneāweāre helping to create a healthier, safer, and more inclusive learning environment. It's a step towards empowering children to pursue education without barriers. We thank the Tamil Nadu government's Information & Publicity Department for recognizing this initiative.

A scoop of empower-mint, please! šØ Two days, several scoops, and an incredible impactāhereās how we made a small difference at Qualitest Portugal. On August 20 and 22, our team enjoyed the delicious flavors of Fratellini ice creams, thanks to our partner, Healthy Generation, Lda. The ice creams were fresh and delicious as expected, but the real cherry on top? Knowing that every bite was making a difference! Fratellini ice creams are made by people rebuilding their lives, recovering from addiction, and finding their way back into the workforce. Every bit of profit goes directly to the Vale de Acór Association, an organization dedicated to helping these individuals gain independence and succeed in the job market. Itās a sweet reminder that small acts can have a big impact. š¦

This year's theme, "It's still in our hands to combat poverty and inequity," reminds us that the power to make a difference lies within each of usāwhether we're acting as individuals, communities, or organizations. Mandela Day calls on us all to reflect on Mandela's values and principles as we strive to tackle poverty and inequality.
