RPC has elected Antony Sassi as its next Managing Partner. Antony will commence his four-year term on May 1, 2025, succeeding James Miller, who has been in the role since 2017.
We hosted a fascinating Design Law panel discussion recently, thank you to our esteemed speakers: His Honour Judge Hacon, Professor Estelle Derclaye, Chris Mills, and RPC's Georgia Davis. The experts delved into the future of design law, marking the launch of our new book, Design Law and Practice, in collaboration with LexisNexis.
Recently, we hosted a private viewing of Hestia Charity's annual art and photography exhibition at our London office, showcasing an inspiring collection of 26 canvases. The showcased works - encompassing photography, painting, and drawing - tell powerful stories of resilience, strength, and creativity. This exhibition has also been displayed in key central London locations, including Trafalgar Square and the London Waterloo and Victoria stations. During the event, attendees heard from Jeremy Drew, Head of RPC's Modern Slavery Executive Committee, Patrick Ryan, CEO of Hestia, Dame Moira Gibb, Chair of Trustees for Hestia, and, most importantly, from two of the talented artists who shared their journeys and the support they've found through Hestia. We're proud to support Hestia and look forward to building on this partnership in the future.

FIG-GIN Speed Mentoring Event: A Fantastic Evening of Connections! Caroline de Souza and Paul Welling kicked off our FIG-GIN mentoring series with an insightful webinar on 19 September. The session laid the groundwork for last nightโs event, where we followed up with part two โ an in-person speed mentoring session at Tower Bridge House. In partnership with the Gender Inclusion Network (GIN), the event brought together professionals from across the insurance industry for a lively evening of rapid mentoring sessions. The event provided a unique opportunity to put mentoring insights into practice. We're thrilled with the level of engagement from both mentors and mentees. Whether junior or senior, every participant brought something valuable to the table, showcasing the power of shared experiences in shaping careers.
