At the beginning of 2020 with a mobile wallet network comprising 160 million, Remitly subsequently began assembling an expanded global partner ecosystem by collaborating with 11 additional entities (25 total), including MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Mobile Money and Ovo. To date, we've expanded our network to 300 million mobile wallets.
Our very own Global Head of DEI, Kim Vu, will be speaking on a panel early next week on how Remitly is supporting working parents throughout this pandemic, as well as, now that kids are going back to school (in-person or virtually).

Right around 1 year ago, Remitly hired Kim Vu as our fearless leader and champion for all things related to Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI). There is still more work for us as a company to do, but we definitely put in a lot of work this last year to promote, practice, and advocate for DEI. Kim was also recently recognized by Reverb as a "female firebrand" - a mission driven woman who stands up and speaks up for herself and others. She is a vocal advocate, amplifying people of all backgrounds and identities. Authentic. Kind. Collaborative. Resilient. Integrity is more important to her than going with the flow.
