Richemont has been recognised for its leadership in corporate sustainability by global environmental non-profit CDP, securing a place on its ‘A List’ for tackling climate change. Matthew Kilgarriff, Group CSR Director, commented: “We are very proud to have been upgraded from A- to A by CDP, an organisation widely recognised as the gold standard of corporate environmental transparency. This is a tribute to all my colleagues at Richemont for engaging effectively to enable progress towards our Sciences Based Targets (SBT), which were validated by the Science-Based Target initiative in September, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in line with the 2015 Paris Agreement. We believe that our SBTs provide us with a clearly defined pathway to help us reduce our impact on climate change, while future-proofing our business for greener growth”. A detailed and independent methodology is used by CDP to assess companies, allocating a score of A to D - based on the comprehensiveness of disclosure, awareness and management of environmental risks and demonstration of best practices associated with

Richemont and our Maisons have taken action and implemented several measures to support different communities during this challenging time. We are proud IWC Schaffhausen, that has launched “Time Well Shared”. An initiative, aiming to inspire people to make the most of their time, where their employees, brand ambassadors, and partners share their time, knowledge, experience and passion through digital channels. At Richemont, we care about our employees, our clients, and the greater community. In order to join the fight against Covid-19 and stop the spread of the virus, the Richemont Group has decided to make available its Italian leather-goods production capabilities, notably those of its Maison Serapian Milano, as well as its network of partners, to produce protective masks with the support of its Pelletteria teams in Florence and Varese: 1 million masks will be donated to the most affected regions in Italy. They will be made available to the medical staff and all of those who are combating against this epidemic in Italy.
