On June 25, Michelle McKenzie and Eric Connelly, Foreign Language-Enabled Research Analyst, Project Leads, had the opportunity to introduce Riverside Research to the Language Workshop Program at Indiana University. The Language Workshop is a nationally renowned, summer intensive language program that attracts high-performing students from across the country. As an independent nonprofit, our presentation was the first of its kind for the Language Workshop and the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies. Governmental intelligence agencies present each year, but this was the first time a non-governmental organization has ever addressed the students of this impressive program. The event was standing room only. Additional students and instructors viewed the event online, and the 50 students present were eager to learn about how studying critical languages can enhance careers and contribute to national security efforts. We appreciate the opportunity to help the emerging generation of linguists pursue careers in government contracting and intelligence. We are currently hiring linguists. Members of the Riverside Research Contracts Team spent time at HTC Dayton (Hannah's Treasure Chest) at their new Miamisburg, OH, location. The team sorted through and organized donated toys, which, along with clothing, diapers, car seats, baby beds, and other necessary items, will be delivered to families in need in southwest Ohio. In 2023, HTC served over 7,050 children through their care package program. HTC is funded through grants, generous sponsors, and donations of gently used items. Our team members were honored to volunteer for this worthy organization. Pictured team members from left to right: Claudia Westover, Barbara A Johnson, and Gary Van Gorder
