October 11 marks National Coming Out Day, when members of the LGBT+ community are encouraged to “come out” by sharing their gender identities or sexual orientation with their families or colleagues. To make this step easier and safe for them, people publicly show their support – including employees at Sartorius. Numerous activities are underway even after the campaign day to celebrate the occasion and to raise awareness and understanding. ➡️ Today, several sites in the U.S. participate in a bake sale to support William Way LGBT Community Center while handing out rainbow and trans pride ribbons, stickers, and educational information. ➡️ In the days ahead, several globally available virtual events, such as a book club, an LGBT Talk and even artistic performances are scheduled. At Sartorius, we believe being open is a prerequisite for innovation and success. That's why we foster openness inside and outside our company.
