❌ The challenge Traffic volumes in City of Madison, WI, along I-39/90 had outgrown the original four-lane corridor, creating congestion and long-term safety concerns on a critical regional route. ✅ The result The IH-39/90 North Segment reconstruction expanded the corridor to six lanes and modernized key infrastructure, improving safety, capacity, and reliability for daily travelers and freight movement across south-central Wisconsin. ⬇️ Take a closer look at how this Wisconsin Department of Transportation project came together. #TransportationInfrastructure #HighwayDesign #RoadwaySafety
