Signet Jewelers proudly celebrates and honors the historic achievements of all brave Black women and men who stood in the face of adversity in the name of racial equality and who, today, stand just as tall to oppose injustices which continue to be exposed in our society. As part of our 2030 Corporate Sustainability Goals we will earmark contributions for historically Black colleges and universities in the form of scholarships and academic partnerships to increase intern and direct hires. We also pledge to co-develop Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) talent in the U.S. by adding five BIPOC-owned companies/brands to our list of vendors. Signet’s Purpose of Inspiring Love exists to create the kind of change we want to see in the world. We believe love knows no boundaries, nor does it discriminate.
Diversity, acceptance and inclusivity are vital to the fabric of Signet’s culture. This focus has helped Signet earn a place on the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index for our fourth consecutive year. 2022 also marks the first year Signet has participated in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's Corporate Equality Index (CEI), and we’re honored to be rated 85 out of 100 for our corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality. Our own Mary Liz Finn, Chief People Officer, and Colleen J. Rooney, Chief Communications and ESG Officer, recently shared their insight into how we celebrate diversity at Signet.
