Our Bermuda colleagues triumphed, achieving joint first place in Xtreme Sports 2024 - an annual corporate competition where teams compete in a variety of sporting activities. They were awarded $3,500, which they chose to donate to Bermuda SPCA, an animal shelter dedicated to supporting the well-being of animals. Throughout the day, everyone demonstrated their competitive spirit. Cecoy Robinson captained the team, which included Damian Simmons, Demi Wright, Ian Foster, Venessa Hizon, Luke Hyland, Mike Lister, Tori Wright, Lloyd Holder and Kian Butterfield. At our London office, we organized a charity bake sale that raised over £600 for Streets of London, a charity dedicated to funding and supporting homeless individuals. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our colleagues who donated and participated. Witnessing everyone’s involvement was truly heartwarming! Congratulations to Program Manager, Tierney Hill who has been shortlisted for the Rising Star of the Year Award at this year’s Managing General Agents’ Association (MGAA) Awards. The Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of individuals and firms in the MGA sector, recognizing and highlighting “forward-thinking initiatives and the pivotal role MGAA Members play in navigating challenges and achieving success.” Winners will be announced at the MGAA Conference on July 10. Well done to our Bermuda colleagues who have so far raised $3,280 by taking part in this year’s Relay for Life. Over 20 colleagues participated in the annual event, which aims to raise funds and awareness in support of cancer prevention, early detection, treatment, and the essential services provided by the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre.
