One small store. One big impact. 💙 Meet Emily—a dedicated nurse at Trinity Terrace and proud recipient of a White Elephant Scholarship. With support from our resident-run resale shop, Emily recently earned her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing through the Bridge Program at Ranger College. While working full-time, raising two sons, and traveling to her hometown of Early, Texas, for classes, Emily kept going—with the strength of her family and the support of our community behind her. “I told the boys, we’re all going to nursing school,” she said. “I did it in my 40s, with two kids and a full-time job.” The White Elephant Store, operated by resident volunteers, has been turning treasures into opportunities since 1999. All proceeds go directly to employee scholarships and the Employee Appreciation Fund—helping team members like Emily pursue their goals and grow their careers. We celebrate Emily’s journey and the kindness of the donors, shoppers, and volunteers who helped make it possible. #EmployeeSpotlight
We’re excited to welcome Lisa Mandell as our new Director of Sales and Marketing! 🌟 With over 20 years of experience in public relations, marketing, and communications—including 12 years in senior living—she brings a wealth of knowledge and a true passion for the work we do. Lisa previously served as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Rogue Valley Manor, another PRS community. After some time away, she’s thrilled to be back with PRS and excited to now be part of the team at Trinity Terrace. As she says, “I love being back in senior living. I really do believe in what we do and the value of what we have to offer.” A proud University of Oregon alum (Go Ducks! 🦆), she recently relocated to Fort Worth and is already enjoying all that the area has to offer. 🎄📚 A Little Christmas Cheer in July! Residents traded ornaments for coconuts and stockings for backpacks in a little Christmas-in-July fun that made a big impact for local students! The Hawaiian-themed party included a School Supplies Drive to support Western Hills Primary students as they embark on a new school year.
