“I was never the kind of person who wanted a typical 9-5 job, but over time, I realized that UST is so much more than that. There’s always room to explore, grow, and do things beyond just work,” shares Malavika Krishnan. From overcoming misjudgments to sparking initiatives and embracing unexpected paths, Malavika’s career journey has been defined by resilience and finding joy. It's not just thinking, it's about getting it done. “Organizing events has always been a passion of mine, and here at UST, I have been able to explore that. The support and encouragement I receive here made me see that even if life doesn’t go exactly as planned, it has a way of leading us to something even better. The key is to embrace that journey and find happiness in what we do.”
Accelerating action requires intentional, equitable efforts to empower women in the workplace.
