We're incredibly proud to announce that our latest fully funded #community project Radville Nemakunku Lower Basic #School opened its gates in the rural village of Nemakunku in the Western Division of the Republic of #Gambia. The school, the only free access school in the Gambia, will accommodate nearly 1000 school children aged between seven and ten years old for the lower basic school age range and will provide children with free schooling, uniforms, equipment and subsidised school meals. Education is critical for a secure future and a stable life. We built 8 classrooms, a modern toilet block and provided books and stationary at Nanyuki Primary School In Kenya. We also developed a market garden so the school could self-sufficiently grow food for its pupils - most of whom receive just one meal a day.
