We are excited to announce the opening of our 107th UK showroom in Kings Lynn on Friday 16th December. This will also be our 113th showroom worldwide as we continue expansion across the northeast coast of the United States. The 13,100 sq. ft. showroom will be a welcome addition to Kings Lynn, providing 20 new jobs to the local area, including roles for management, design, home surveyors and information advisors. As part of the launch, we will also be donating £500 to the Mayor’s charitable trust, which supports The Bridge for Heroes and The Purfleet Trust. These charities support mental health and wellbeing support for the HM Armed Forces Community and provide help for single, homeless people respectively in the local area. Mayor, Councillor Lesley Bambridge also said: “I am delighted to be opening a new branch of Wren Kitchens in King’s Lynn. We very much welcome new businesses in West Norfolk both for the local economy and the job creation it offers.”
We celebrated another year of success at our annual Retail Winter Conference, and what a day it was! Bringing teams members across both the UK & USA together, to celebrate the successes and achievements of 2022, whilst looking forward to the exciting prospects of the new year ahead. From exciting new product launches to cutting edge technological innovations, it really had it all! The evening also played host to our annual ‘Golden Egg Awards’, where achievements made by our retail and head office teams were celebrated!
This year, we’ve scaled up our apprenticeship programme to offer new and exciting opportunities in several areas of the business including Customer Service and IT apprentices. Our brand-new apprenticeship opportunities welcomed 28 enthusiastic new starters to our state-of-the-art HQ in Barton-upon-Humber this week! Each apprentice will benefit from a tailored learning programme that has been developed by our in-house training team and approved training provider. We’re proud to support the local community and recently attended North Lindsay College’s Motor Vehicle Open Event in one of our nationwide delivery trucks. Our bright-green HGV was parked at the college throughout the event, welcoming students onboard and inspiring them with industry knowledge and tips. The college supports students with a keen interest in the motor industry and focuses on skills including MOT testing, IRTEC, LGV and Hybrid training. Campbell Tudhope, Senior Motor Vehicle Lecturer at North Lindsay College, said: “Thank you Wren for your proactive approach to helping our students gain invaluable experience. We’re proud to give something back to the local community, and recently we’ve been providing free transport in our fantastic Wren Flyer coach to local charities, community groups and schools! Last week, we took Key Stage 2 pupils from Goxhill Primary to Baysgarth School to watch a performance by Onatti Productions titled ‘The World’s Gone French’. This ingenious play, performed in both French and English, is a fantastic opportunity for children to recognise many words and phrases from their language lessons. Hannah Burnham, Head of Modern Foreign Languages at Baysgarth School, said: “Thank you so much to Wren Kitchens for providing the transport for the students at Goxhill primary. The Wren Flyer allowed them to enjoy a fantastic performance, sustain their enjoyment, and boost their confidence in speaking French!”

We're proud to say that we're going even greener at Wren Kitchens and switching to environmentally-friendly HVO fuel. By September this year, over 200 of Wren Kitchens’ 18-tonne and 44-tonne home delivery trucks will be powered on environmentally friendly HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) derived from waste and residue oils. The move will deliver an immediate cut of up to 90% in CO2 emissions.
