We're delighted to appoint Simon Chave as our new Chief Information Officer to continue our digital transformation journey following another successful year. Simon succeeds Helen Marshall, who has retired after four years as CIO and almost 10 years at #Yodel. Helen was recently the recipient of CIO of the Year and IT Leader of the Year at the Women in Tech Excellence awards for her work in STEM leadership. Simon commented: “I am very excited to lead the Yodel IT team and am fortunate to start my journey with an established team that has bags of talented individuals, who are passionate about the quality of the services they provide. Consistently excellent IT service levels will remain our focus, combined with a healthy dose of innovation to support our valued clients and customers.”
Last week we were extremely proud to take part in the Lord Mayor’s Show. We were invited to take part in the prestigious event for exceptional and amazing delivery, taking part in the event with the Institute of Couriers (IOC). Everyone involved was proud to be representing us on such a special stage, walking through the streets of London proudly displaying our green. Ahead of the launch of our latest video in partnership with Leicester Tigers, Our Mental Health Champion and Operations Manager (Wednesbury), Phil Poxon, said: "Part of my role is to support Mental Health First Aiders, and to promote and communicate everything to do with well-being in the workplace. One of the things I've learnt from spending time talking about these topics with Tigers players is just how understanding and aware they are of the importance of mental health, it was really wonderful to hear from them."
