We are pleased to introduce our young talents who have recently started their three-year training at cargo-partner in Germany! We currently have 15 new team members at 6 of our locations in Germany: Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich, Neu Wulmstorf and Stuttgart. Our young talents are enrolled in various trainee programs ranging from rail, sea and air transport up to office management. As part of their training at cargo-partner, they will be involved in day-to-day business to gain industry experience and know-how for their future logistics careers. We are happy to have these motivated young people at cargo-partner in Germany and hope that the trainee program will be a success for all involved. After two years of successful operations in our Melbourne office, we have strengthened our presence in the country with the acquisition of the Australian logistics company Associated Customs & Forwarding (ACF). With this step, cargo-partner gained two new locations in #Sydney and #Brisbane. The team has grown to 35 employees, we welcome all new colleagues on board. ACF was founded in 1972 and is a global, IATA-accredited service provider for air and sea freight, customs clearance and contract logistics. The company operates 3,000 sqm of warehousing space in Sydney, including a bonded warehouse with with in-house customs clearance and a quarantine warehouse that meets the requirements of Australia's import procedures. Our partnership with ACF complements our existing service and product portfolio thanks to ACF's expertise in logistics, value-added services as well as domestic transportation solutions.
