Pros
After an influx of really negative one star reviews, I think it's important to fairly review the positives of working at GWI: - True flexibility (including early finish on Fridays, and half day Fridays in the Summer) - Generous bonus - Annual pay review for all employees - Fantastic parental leave policies - WFH first culture (office attendance is expected 2/3 days a week but rarely enforced) - Brilliant people - Office dog days - Free breakfast and snacks in the office - WFH budget - Generous health insurance plans
Cons
Despite the positives, there is no smoke without fire. As others have posted, the negatives are sadly a lot more severe than the things listed above: - Repeated layoffs/redundancies (approx every 6 months) - Frequent restructures and shifting strategies - Loss of trust in Senior Leadership - Poor communication around major changes - Perceived disconnect between ELT messaging and employee reality - Reduced psychological safety and job security (those safe in April are just sat waiting to see their fait come October!) - Concerns that AI investment and leadership priorities are being communicated badly to the business... And the most unsettling part of it all, if you flag any of this or seem "against the business", then you're labelled a "detractor" and are immediately managed out, put on a PIP, or made redundant. They do not want us to "Ask Why".
