What is the salary like at Hulu?

Easy work good pay on most days

There actually wasn’t to many bad things

Decent pay, great job for self motivated

Work culture is no more

Great company culture with some of the strongest talent in the industry

Disney acquiring the company made a negative impact on benefits, competitive pay and general innovation (much more corporate now, less tech focused and not as cutting-edge). Focus of the company has shifted from being about the consumer to now being about earnings and making sure the company looks profitable each quarter.

Everything changed with Disney, Hulu is not what it used to be. Disney execs who don't understand streaming took over, don't care anything but making current execs happy so org and goals change all the time employees are unhappy, execs gossip a lot and gaslight employees there are lots of favoritism constant lay offs make it stressful, then if you don't get laid off you take on the work of everyone who got laid off but pay doesn't change. no one knows what it takes to get promoted. Salaries are very low even for new hires. Best advice is not to work here. everyone is trying to leave

It’s remote and you get a Hulu membership, unlimited vacation but not encouraged to take it

Not flexible on hours, timer for when you’re away from the computer, hard to move up, bad pay
