      Pros

Bonus if you meet your KPI's. 35 days annual leave

      Cons

People are afraid to speak up to the problems and managers who were engineers once upon a time are now regional field managers have no experience in dealing with situations nor they have any kind of management skills yet their the ones who get chosen it's still about favouritism.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that you value the bonus structure and generous annual leave, as we aim to offer benefits that support both performance and work-life balance. We’re genuinely sorry to hear about your concerns regarding communication and management development. Creating an environment where everyone feels safe to speak up is a priority for us, and we recognise that there’s always room to grow. We are actively investing in training and developing our managers to ensure they are equipped with the right skills to support their teams effectively. We are regularly reviewing our appraisals processes to ensure eligibility criteria are applied consistently, constructively, and fairly with the goal of supporting our people and the organisation. Your feedback is valuable and will be shared with the relevant teams to help us improve. Thank you, the Culture and Engagement Team

      Pros

This goes without saying, but most of the coworkers are lovely genuine people who will become your friends sooner than you can imagine. Team-work is strong and whenever you need help, someone is there to help you. Salary is on time.

      Cons

People with little to no results are promoted and nobody really knows why, making the management really hard to respect. For the past year+ in CS, with the arrival of new management, there has been a really unhealthy atmosphere in the team, causing anyone who critiques any new initiatives to be ostracized, it's gone so far that team leaders aren't even asked for their opinion anymore, but everything is run by a few people with extremely limited knowledge and/or management expertise. There is a history of talking in a negative way about other colleagues with lower level employees, undermining other agents, managers or team leaders. About 10 cases are known of this happening, but HR refuses to do anything about this until mobbing charges are raised. They will only discuss things behind closed doors with no record of conversations, probably to save themselves from legal repercussions down the line. Seniority doesn't really grant you any rights. You will receive a 0% increase in your yearly salary review, with no real explanation why that is. They will tell you that feedback and the salary review are not mandatory. They will tell you that you're not a key player, but will not explain why you're not a key player. Budgets and benefits are being cut left and right, and there are rumors going around that the company is to be sold in the near future. Many people have been fired both in Serbia and the UK and essentially nobody is safe, if you're looking for a stable company, skip this one. Tools used to support the service are picked because they're cheap, not because they fit our workload best, leading to a billion problems usually taking months to fix. There's a massive cultural issue where Serbian employees are essentially considered lesser beings to their UK counterparts. There is 0 investment in people. If you're looking for learning, courses, seminars, forget about it, you will not find it here. If you're selected to conduct interviews, and it's your first time, you're just expected to know how to do it. If you're selected to manage a team, and it's your first time managing one, you're just expected to know how to do it.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We take your feedback seriously and would urge you to contact your local HR Business Partner to discuss your experiences. We are committed to ensuring that every employee feels heard and valued, and we have policies in place, such as our grievance policy, to support this. We understand your concerns about the salary review process. Our annual salary reviews are designed to ensure fair remuneration based on job performance and market standards. However, not every review results in an increase, as it depends on various factors that are defined for each review cycle. We continuously review and enhance our employee benefits and learning programs. For instance, on the top of our existing offering including on line learning system that contains various leadership and functional trainings, we have recently introduced Rezilient as our Employee Assistance Programme to support everyone's wellbeing, and we are launching a new line manager development programme in Q2 this year. We are also investing in our people in other ways – for example, opening a new office in Belgrade and launching new AI-driven tools and systems to help make things easier for our people so they can continue to provide a 5-star experience for our customers. Thank you again for your feedback. We are committed to making Hyperoptic a great place to work and appreciate your insights. The Culture and Engagement Team

      Pros

Well nothing more then other companies, maybe a bit less stress in some teams.

      Cons

-Limited break (who eats only one time a day? Or only one time during 8 hours?) -Very unprofessional managers (as someone below mentioned - managers are selected here based by how long have they been in the company and not by their knowledge, also it helps if you are on good terms with someone from HR or higher ups) -Very little chances for promotion or advancement ( That is cause new job offers are posted very rarely) * One will have very limited chances to succeed in this company as I mentioned because of limited job offers, but that is because company is not ready to expand their budget in order to hire more people for teams who actually need more people. However they are ready to pay lunches and dinners and much more to their executives. My own supervisor literally bragged about how the company paid for their lunch in the amount of 1000 euros. * Apart of all this, make sure that your salary will almost never be calculated well as there is only one employee who deals with calculations and salaries and that employee makes a lot of mistakes. Think twice before you apply

Thanks for leaving a review. We are concerned you feel you are unable to take a break from work, we value our employees' wellbeing and want our employees to take breaks from work as and when needed. If this is something you feel you are unable to do, please speak to your Line Manager or HR Business Partner. In regards to our promotion process, promotions arise in three ways: one, as you mentioned, due to the role being advertised, another when the org has a need for a new role, and finally to reward talent and achievement. In response to your feedback on salaries, we take care to ensure our salary review progress follows two key principles: parity and performance. Ensuring our salaries are competitive in the market and that Hyperoptic recognises and rewards performance. We would like to discuss your feedback in more detail, please can we ask that you contact your Line manager or your HR Business Partner so we can help address your concerns. Pros

When I started working for this company 5 years ago everything was great, communication, expectations, benefits, salary, etc. but then the company was bought by a major fund and things took the turn for the worst and turned this company into a soulless corporation whose only goals are better profits and great numbers on the company update presentation. At the moment, the only pros COULD be some of the people still working there. Everything else is so bad.

      Cons

A lot of things - management not really interested in employee wellbeing since they are having pressure from above to make us all more productive while also cutting costs. Does that sound like a healthy work environment where people are trying to do their best in every situation? Didn’t think so. No wonder so many people are quitting and the company has no time to find replacements. No real prospects of the career development except for a select few who are “good friends” with someone from the management.
