What is the hiring process like at Qatar Airways?

Reached out to me for a position of Cloud Technical Architect, Interview panel had 3 senior technical managers and one HR lady. Interview process was a disaster, they throw at your tons of random technical question that you would ask a new grad or developer having no sense that position you posted is a 12 years plus experience architect. Will go in nitty gritty of questions that you would ask a new developer and then shame you if you dont know the answer on top of the head. I dont think Management is even aware of how to design a robust cloud architecture. Team was not diversified at all. All of them were Indians first of all, that they might be hiring as a cheap labour.

Company only cares about management and justifies their bad behaviour, I was told to accept a manager shouting at me in front of everyone and constant belittling HR are very ineffective and grievance process is too multi layered, encourages a system of continually taking abuse and disrespect and reporting each time it happens Too much emphasis on hierarchy, some management only respect people higher than them and view people of a lower grade badly Policies can make access to complete work very restricted

Team at LMI LHR worked well together in the dynamic. An experienced group that got the job done, no matter what.

Too much overtime (increase recruitment or hire connies) leading to the manpower being overworked. Not enough GSE to carry out tasks/servicing checks. Majority of non-engineering staff have very poor interpersonal skills (raising reports against staff in order to "point score").

Totally depends and can differ based on the kind of management and team, so nothing specific to list. However the HR policies and processes internally could come across a tad strict in certain aspects.
