What is the salary like at XPO?

      XPO reviews

      Great place to work

      Freight classification specialist-lead
      Current employee
      Wichita, KS
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Decent pay, great benefits and amazing culture

      Cons

There are really no cons that I can think of

Good job if NOT looking for work life balance.

      Operations supervisor
      Former employee
      Ohio City, OH
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Decent pay, good potential for yearly raise and or bonus, benefits are decent.

      Cons

Must be flexible to work different shifts/hours (sometimes on short notice), ALOT of variables that truly affect your day/night causing longer hours and more stress, support from upper leadership lacking as they only care about the numbers not the employees, drivers dictate everything and company allows it to happen.

      Good company

      Dsr, driver sales representative
      Current employee
      Reading, PA
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Good pay, opportunities for advancement and relocation anywhere in the country, most coworkers

      Cons

Work-life balance, not all but many managers, seniority based company (standard in industry), inconsistent schedule, dock work required

      Won't rehire

      Combo driver/dock
      Former employee
      Decatur, AL
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

      Great pay and great benefits

      Cons

I was told I could transfer to a different city, signed a lease, then told I couldn't transfer. I told them the day I gave them for my last day at current terminal would be my last day with the company. They refused to count the three weeks they knew about me leaving, as a proper notice.

      1

Good pay, corporate atmosphere, micromanaged .

      Driver/sales representative
      Former employee
      Romulus, MI
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Good pay, good benefits, newer equipment

      Cons

Strict corporate structure. No empathy. Ridiculously micromanaged. They care more about the numbers than they do the people. They track everything you do every second of the day. I felt like no matter how much I did it wasn't enough. Quick to discipline/fire.

Only worth it if you can deal with several years of nonsense.

      Driver
      Current employee
      Salt Lake City, UT
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Good pay, decent benefits, Variety of schedules.

      Cons

Constant workplace drama, drivers are not protected or appreciated in any way, the schedule can be very inconsistent until you put in several years, overbearing micromanagement and scrutiny over pay, and you are made promises that are not kept.

      Good

Local management at each terminal makes or breaks your experience.
