      SQL Server Database Administrator Interview

      1 Mar 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at 1A Auto Parts

      Interview

The interview was easy as long as you have knowledge. Nice people to talk to you but not professional. I had a phone screening and then 2 skype interviews. One was 2 hours long and the other was almost 4 hours long. In total, I have talked to these guys for almost 8 hours. The team that interviewed me was not professional, people were sitting and eating food, one had their legs on the desk. (seriously???) . With that said, my issue isn't the questions, my issue with this company is, they need to stop wasting people's time by interviewing them for almost 8 hours in total and then asking them to come to meet them face to face for a whole day. What a waste of time when you don't even know you got the job. No one in their right mind will spend 16 hours of their time interviewing, yeah someone who is desperate might do that. I got called in for face to face meeting, they wanted me to stay for the whole day and I rejected the invitation. TIP, this isn't a mars mission that you need to grill someone for that many hours. Be considerate and learn that time is extremely important.
